This New Ryan Philippe Movie Just Hit #2 on Netflix & It’s Totally Worth the Watch

Move over, The Impossible. There’s a new movie making its way to the top of Netflix‘s charts. And it even stars one of our favorite actors, Ryan Phillippe.
Called The 2nd (referencing the second amendment of the United States Constitution), the 2020 film just made its way to the number two spot on the streaming service’s list of most-watched movies, surpassing The Impossible, Easy A, Operation Christmas Drop, Mile 22, Knock Knock and Holidate. A FIRST LOOK AT THE 2ND
Penned by Eric Bromberg & Paul Taegel, Brian Skiba directs the film about Vic Davis (Phillippe), a secret service agent visiting his estranged son at college who gets caught up in a hostage situation involving the daughter of a Supreme Court justice.
The 2nd will be distributed to theaters in Europe, Netflix in the U.S., with a possible limited U.S. theatrical release.
Jack Griffo, Samaire Armstrong, and Casper Van Dien also star.
Geoffrey James Clark, Phillippe, James Shavick, Skiba, and Josh Tessier produce, and Nicolas Chartier, Jonathan Deckter, and Drew Ryce are executive producers.
